This is a 24 year old Auchentoshan, a Lowland single malt bottled by A.D. Rattray in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit was distilled on 14 May 1998 and bottled on 20 February 2023, with 136 bottles drawn from a single cask. It has a brilliant ochre colour.
The nose is Tahitian vanilla, flaked almond and tangerine slice. On the palate come sweet orange marmalade, juicy mango and crystallized ginger, and the finish moves to green tea and cashew nut as the tropical fruit fades.
