A.D. Rattray Whisky Experience Malt 9 is a single malt Scotch from Macduff Distillery, distilled in 2009. This limited edition belongs to the House Malts series and comes from a single bourbon hogshead, number 701265. It is bottled at 40% ABV with natural colour.
Citrus, orange, dried apricot and apple meet honeyed chamomile and vanilla on the nose. Honey, vanilla custard, toasted almonds and ginger shape the smooth palate, before a medium to long finish of spiced apple and gentle oak.
