Glen Scotia 5 Year Old is a Campbeltown malt whisky bottled by A. Gillies & Co. in the 1970s at 40% ABV, in a 75cl bottle.
The Kintyre peninsula once had more than thirty distilleries, but by the end of the 1920s only Glen Scotia and Springbank remained. Glen Scotia was mothballed several times, closed for most of the 1990s, and was then reopened by Loch Lomond Distillers. Today it is one of three distilleries in the region.
