A.H. Hirsch Reserve is a Pennsylvania straight rye whiskey, here in the Gold Wax presentation and aged for 16 years in a 750ml bottle. It was distilled in the spring of 1974 at the Michter's Distillery in Schaefferstown, Pennsylvania, which closed in 1989.
The whiskey was bottled by Preiss Imports under the A.H. Hirsch label. Pennsylvania distilleries tracked production by season, and this bottle carries the Spring 1974 distillation date on its Gold Wax.
