This is a navy-strength, overproof rum bottled at 60% in collaboration with Conventus Ranae, the association of the Danish Frogman Corps. It is a hand-blended mix of rums matured in oak casks, each with its own history, and it replaces the earlier Frogman bottlings.
The nose is fairly light for the strength, led by balsamic glaze and mocha with hints of burnt notes and orange. On the palate the alcohol is more present but well integrated, with those notes joined by pineapple and coconut milk chocolate. The finish is very creamy, with dark chocolate and mocha.
