An Orkney single malt from Highland Park, released by Uncharted Whisky under the name Park Life. Distilled in 2003 and bottled in 2025 at 22 years of age, it shows how refill sherry wood and distillery character can combine. On the nose there is gentle caramel sweetness with a rare hint of mint and eucalyptus, fine sherry notes, delicate herbs and a hint of smoke. The palate is round, creamy and balanced, with herbal spice, vanilla and a fine smoky note, plus discreet oak, floral nuances and a pleasant sweetness. The finish is long and smooth with gentle smoke, sweet caramel and a hint of herbal freshness.
