A. Overholt's Old Overholt is a four year old straight rye whiskey, distilled and bottled in the early 2000s at 40% ABV. It comes in a one-litre bottle.
The brand is more than 150 years old, as the label points out. After Prohibition its owners, the Mellon family, sold it to National Distillers, which kept producing it for around fifty years. Jim Beam acquired the brand in 1987, and today it is distilled in Kentucky alongside Old Grand-Dad.
