Abasolo Corn Alma Tierra Mexican Whisky (75cl)

Abasolo is a Mexican whisky made entirely from ancestral Cacahuazintle corn, a non-GMO heirloom grain grown by local farmers for hundreds of years. It is sold in a 75cl bottle and was created as a tribute to Mexican culture. The corn goes through nixtamalization, a traditional cooking process said to be 4000 years old, before it becomes whisky. The notes are deep and nuanced: roasted corn, honey, vanilla, black tea and leather.
