Abduction Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

Abduction is a straight bourbon created by Ryan Murray of Pacifica, California, bottled at 45% in a 750ml bottle. It is a four-grain blend of corn, rye, wheat and barley, aged for three to four years. The whiskey was distilled in Indiana and bottled in Stanford, Kentucky. The UFO theme runs through the packaging: as the level in the bottle drops, the inside of the back label reveals a barrel being beamed up into a spaceship. The brand describes caramel and sweet corn on the nose. The palate opens with vanilla and toffee, then fills out with dried fruit, banana and anise, and the finish is spicy.
