This is a 10 year old Highland single malt from Aberfeldy, released as the Autumn 2023 edition of the Equinox & Solstice series from Decadent Drinks. It is bottled at 48.5% in a 70cl bottle.
It is a small batch of two refill barrels, both filled in 2013. This year's series carries original artworks by the Skye-based artist Ellis O'Connor.
The whisky shows the fuller-bodied side of Aberfeldy: dry, mineral and waxy, with a rich cereal character and a gentle biscuity sweetness underneath.
