Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a single malt made from 100% malted barley and distilled entirely at Aberfeldy Distillery.
It spends 16 years in handmade oak casks before a finish in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, which adds a gentle fruitiness and a rounder texture.
The nose brings honey, citrus and spicy cloves. On the palate it is full and sherried like fruitcake, with touches of rich dark chocolate, and it closes with a soothing, mouth-coating finish.
