Aberfeldy 16 Year Old is a Highland single malt from Scotland, bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It matures in first-fill, refill and re-charred bourbon casks, then spends six months in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks to finish.
The sherry finish is behind the richer fruitcake notes. Honey, citrus and clove sit alongside fruitcake and dark chocolate, and the finish is rich and mouth-coating.
