A 16-year-old Highland single malt Scotch whisky from the Aberfeldy distillery, in a 70cl bottle and presented in a tube.
It matures for sixteen years in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks, which bring softness, length and pronounced spicy, woody notes.
The colour is bright amber. The nose shows ripe yellow fruit, honey, wood and spice, with a hint of chocolate. The palate is warm, enveloping and rich, and the finish is long.
