Aberfeldy 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt from the Perthshire distillery that provides the heart malt of Dewar's blended Scotch. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whisky spent 18 years maturing mostly in American oak that previously held bourbon. The distillery draws on water from the Pitilie Burn, and its character is naturally sweet, honeyed and rounded.
Vanilla, caramel and dried fruit are the flavours associated with it, followed by a long finish.
