Aberfeldy 25 Year Old Oloroso Cask Finish is a single malt bottled at 46% ABV. It spends over two decades maturing in re-fill hogsheads and re-fill butts, then more than a year in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks, which add a spiced note to the distillery's rich, fruity character.
Tasting notes describe Highland honey, wild strawberries and sun-warmed ripe peaches on the nose, building with cocoa powder, creamy caramel and cinnamon. The palate has delicate fruit on a malty, cereal base with a hint of vanilla coffee, followed by a long finish.
