This is a 10 year old Aberlour single malt from around 1988, bottled at 40% ABV, when the distillery still described its whiskies as 'Aberlour-Glenlivet'.
The hyphenated name was used fairly widely across Speyside, and today only The Glenlivet itself keeps it. The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks.
