Aberlour 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured in two types of cask, as the Double Cask name indicates.
It has an amber gold colour with ruby highlights. The nose is very soft and rounded, with fruity notes of red apple. The palate has a good sherried body with fruity character.
The finish is warming and powerful, with some smoky notes and a gentle pepperiness.
