Aberlour 12 Year Old is a single malt Scotch whisky matured for 12 years in two kinds of cask.
Traditional oak and seasoned sherry butts are both used, and the spirits from them are combined. The aim is to soften the crisp, citrus character of Aberlour's raw spirit, giving a subtly balanced flavour.
