Aberlour 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, matured in a combination of traditional oak and sherry casks. The result pairs soft fruitiness with gentle spice.
The nose brings kumquat, orange and lemon, followed by rich malt and vanilla. The palate makes a big but dignified entry, with ripe fruit and a mix of sweet and peppery spices. Red apple is softened by hints of ginger.
The finish is dry and clean, with a well-textured, lingering impression.
