This is a 12-year-old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured partly in ordinary casks and partly in casks that once held sherry.
In the glass it is amber with faint ruby glints. The nose is full of red fruit with a distinct note of apple. The palate is round and warm, with a well-balanced spiciness.
