Aberlour – 12 Years (70cl)

Aberlour 12 Years is a Speyside single malt matured for 12 years in carefully selected oak casks, in a 70cl bottle. The barley is steeped in spring water for two days and malted on the floor without peat. The malt is then ground, fermented with spring water for 48 hours and distilled twice. The nose is soft and delicate, with red apple. On the palate there is a clear sherry character, joined by chocolate, caramel, cinnamon and ginger. The finish is warm and lightly spicy.
