This is a 14 year old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It is double cask matured, using Oloroso sherry casks and first-fill American oak casks.
It is deep amber with honeyed gold tones. The nose is sweet and balanced, led by vanilla and ripe cherry. The palate is round and smooth, with soft caramel, blackcurrant jam and a little spice, followed by a long, sweet and balanced finish.
