This is a 16 year old Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Aberlour, in a 70cl bottle and supplied in a box.
It is matured in casks that previously held bourbon and in wood that previously held sherry. The colour shifts between amber and gold.
The nose has raisins, with floral and spicy hints. The palate is rich, dry and smooth, with an elegantly fruity flavour and some woody notes. The finish is persistent.
