Aberlour 16 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. It spent 16 years maturing in a combination of American oak casks and Sherry butts.
The character is warm and fruity, with a spicy sweetness running through it, and the colour is a rich golden amber.
The nose is rich and scented, with floral notes, sweet raisin and spicy nuttiness. The palate is smooth and full, sweet, floral and spicy, with soft plum and gentle oak. The finish is long, warm and fruity, with a little spice.
