This is Aberlour at 16 years old, a Speyside single malt that has been double matured in both ex-bourbon and sherry casks. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It follows the classic rich and spicy Speyside style, with smooth sherried notes and toasty vanillin oak spices. These linger on a finish rich in barley.
