Aberlour 18 Year Old Double Cask Matured is a Highland single malt Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. It spent eighteen years maturing in a combination of oak and sherry casks.
The nose brings ripe fruit, including apples and oranges, with warm spices and dark chocolate. The palate is velvety, with creamy toffee, honeyed nuts and dried fruits, a subtle oakiness and a touch of cinnamon. The finish is long and warm, with a whisper of gentle smoke.
