An 18 year old Speyside single malt from Aberlour, bottled at 43% abv in a 70cl bottle.
It was first matured in a combination of American and European oak, then finished in first-fill Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers sultanas, orange zest, dried cranberries, toffee, dark chocolate and blackcurrants. The palate is rich and fruity, with apricots, chocolate, liquorice root and nutmeg. The finish is long, complex and sweet.
