Aberlour – A'Bunadh Alba (60%)

Aberlour A'Bunadh Alba is a Speyside single malt from the Aberlour distillery, bottled at cask strength at 60% ABV. The strength can vary from batch to batch, but it generally sits around that mark. The whisky is matured only in first-fill American oak casks that previously held bourbon. It is bottled without chill-filtration. The nose is fresh, with green apple, pear and citrus alongside vanilla, coconut and almond. On the palate it is dense and lively, with orchard fruit, honey, gentle spice and toasted oak. The finish is long and spicy, led by wood and vanilla.
