Aberlour A'bunadh is a cask-strength single malt from Speyside. The name is Gaelic for 'the original', and the series is Aberlour's tribute to its founder, James Fleming. Batch 085 was matured entirely in first-fill Oloroso sherry butts and bottled in 2026 at 61.3% ABV. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose combines spice, praline and spiced orange with a deep Oloroso influence. On the palate come black cherries, dried fruit, ginger and dark chocolate, with a creamy, full body. The finish is long, intense and balanced.
