Aberlour – A'bunadh Batch 56 Bottled 2016 (70cl, 61.2%)

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 56 is a Speyside single malt bottled by the distillery in 2016, in a 70cl bottle at a cask strength of 61.2%. It is an earlier edition of the range. A'bunadh carries no age statement and is assembled only from Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, then bottled without chill filtration. Batch 56 was drawn from a small batch of those butts. Since 2025 the batch numbering has been reset, because current versions include some whisky matured in American oak and are finished in sherry casks rather than fully matured in them.
