Aberlour – A'bunadh Batch 71 Bottled 2021 (70cl, 61.5%)

This is Batch 71 of Aberlour A'bunadh, a Speyside single malt bottled in 2021 in a 70cl bottle at 61.5%. A'bunadh carries no age statement and is assembled only from Spanish Oloroso sherry butts. It is bottled without chill filtration at full natural cask strength. The expression first appeared at the end of the 1990s and has remained Aberlour's most popular with single malt drinkers. Batches up to number 84 were fully matured in Oloroso sherry. From 2025 the numbering restarted for a revised recipe that includes some American oak and finishes in sherry casks, so Batch 71 belongs to the earlier full-term style.
