Aberlour – A'bunadh Batch 77 (70cl, 60.8%)

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 77 is a Speyside single malt bottled at a cask strength of 60.8% in a 70cl bottle. It is not chill-filtered. A'bunadh means 'the original' in Scottish Gaelic, and the series is known for its rich sherry character. Each batch has a character of its own. The nose offers raisins, dried fruit and dark sherry, with dark chocolate, caramel and warm spices. On the palate there is plenty of dried fruit and plums, alongside dark chocolate, caramel, orange and spice. The finish is long and warm, with sherry, dark fruit, chocolate and spice.
