Aberlour – A'bunadh Batch 84 (70cl)

Aberlour A'bunadh Batch 84 is a cask strength single malt from the Aberlour Distillery, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured in sherry butts and is not chill-filtered. The distillery was founded in 1826 near St Drostan's Well, and this expression pays homage to its traditional 19th-century methods. The nose is slightly spicy, with oak, orange chocolate, butter and dried apricot. The palate has warm spices, a little smoke, toasted oak, orange peel, dark chocolate and concentrated dried fruit. It can be taken at room temperature or with a splash of water.
