Aberlour – A'Bunadh Batch No. 81 (70cl, 61.6%)

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch No. 81 is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at an original cask strength of 61.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered. The whisky was matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry butts, and this is the eighty-first batch of the expression. The nose is typically described as intensely spiced, with sweet sherry, juicy oranges and fresh pralines. On the palate it is smooth and creamy, with orange, black cherries, nuts, ginger and dark chocolate. The finish is robust, with bittersweet exotic spices, chocolate and oak.
