Aberlour – Casg Annamh

Aberlour Casg Annamh is a single malt Scotch whisky. The name translates from Gaelic as 'Rare Cask', and it is made from a limited number of selected casks. The whisky is matured in Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks and butts, which bring sweet, rich notes to the Aberlour distillate. It is non-chill filtered. The nose is rich and sweet, with tangy orange, glazed cherries, raisins and a hint of ginger. On the palate come apple and cinnamon crumble and ripe peaches, balanced by liquorice and cloves. The finish is long and rich, fruity with a touch of dry spice.
