Aberlour Casg Annamh is a Speyside single malt bottled at 48% ABV and non-chill-filtered. Its Gaelic name means 'rare cask'.
It is a vatting of first-fill and second-fill Oloroso sherry casks, together with American oak casks.
The nose offers ripe fruit, apple, pear and grape, with caramel, honey and gentle spice. The palate is broad and round, with dried fruit, vanilla, milk chocolate and cinnamon. The finish is long, warming and lightly woody, with fruit that lingers.
