Achill Island Single Malt Bourbon Cask is an Irish single malt from Achill Island Distillers, in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 44% ABV.
It is made from Irish malted barley, triple distilled in copper pot stills and matured on Achill Island in first fill Kentucky bourbon barrels.
The nose is gentle and floral, with vanilla and crème caramel. The palate has a sweet malt character with toffee, caramel and almond, and the finish is medium to long with a creamy mouthfeel.
