Adamus 20 Anos Brandy (70cl)

Adamus 20 Anos is a Portuguese brandy aged for 20 years in old Portuguese oak casks. It is distilled from Baga grapes in a copper pot still. The name joins two Greek-rooted words: adamas, from which diamond derives, and adamar, meaning soft. The rectangular bottle is closed with a cork stopper with one side cut to echo a diamond. The first edition appeared in 2017, a numbered series of 2983 bottles. The nose is complex and aromatic, with soft toffee, confit fruit and the scent of a cigar box. The palate is full-bodied and elegant, with lingering notes.
