This is a Benriach from the 1999 vintage, bottled by the independent bottler Adelphi in a 70cl bottle. It is a single malt aged for 21 years in an ex-bourbon cask.
Only 182 bottles were produced in this limited edition.
The nose is of almonds, vanilla and a dusting of icing sugar. The palate is delicate, with toasted nuts, marzipan and ginger. The finish is long and spicy, with black pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg.
