This is Aerstone 10 Year Old Land Cask, a peated single malt bottled at 40% vol in a 70cl bottle.
It combines a pronounced smokiness with a soft, creamy texture, and its maturation inland is said to add depth. The colour is amber.
The nose is rich, with spicy peat smoke, a fine sweetness and citrus. On the palate it is soft and creamy, with smoke, sweetness, fruit and oak. The finish is long, with peat smoke staying alongside vanilla sweetness and a hint of salt.
