Little Book Chapter 2 "Noe Simple Task" is a blended whiskey from Freddie Noe, released in 2018 as the second chapter of the Little Book series. It blends American and Canadian whiskies and is bottled at 59.4% ABV (118.8 proof), uncut and unfiltered, with no neutral spirit, colour or flavouring added.
Three components make up the blend: an 8-year-old Kentucky straight rye, a 13-year-old Canadian rye aged in re-charred barrels, and a 40-year-old Canadian whisky made from 100% corn and aged in once-used bourbon barrels. The idea came from Freddie's visit to Beam's Canadian distilleries and his interest in the fruity, floral character of Canadian whisky.
