Knob Creek Single Barrel Reserve is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged nine years and bottled from a single hand-selected barrel at 120 proof (60% ABV). It comes from the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky, and is made from 77% corn, 13% rye and 10% malted barley, then matured in deeply charred new American oak.
Its colour is a deep amber. The nose brings vanilla, toasted oak, caramel and warm baking spice, while the full-bodied palate offers rich caramel, oak, maple, dark fruit and robust spice. The finish is long and warming, with oak and spice lingering.
