Hardin's Creek 8 Year Old Low Distillation Profile Straight Bourbon (70cl)

This is an 8 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from the Hardin's Creek collection, made by James B. Beam Distilling Co. and sold in a 70cl bottle. The Low Distillation Profile release looks at how a lower distillation profile, combined with eight years in barrel, shapes the concentration of flavour in the bourbon. The colour is deep amber with copper highlights. The nose is caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, brown sugar and baking spice. The palate brings toffee, caramelised sugar, seasoned oak, cinnamon and dark fruit. The finish is long and warming, with oak, caramel, vanilla and spice.
