Aerstone 10 Year Old Sea Cask is a Scotch single malt, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured close to the sea, which gives it its maritime character.
The nose combines buttery toffee, creamy vanilla, fresh shortbread and honeyed malt, with a little orange zest, cinnamon and cocoa. The palate shows floral malt, nougat and vanilla cake, with more honey, orange sweets, icing sugar and earthy oak.
The finish is long, with clove, candied lemon and vanilla pod, and a pinch of salt.
