Aglianico del Vulture DOC - Orme Di Lava

An Aglianico del Vulture with a deep ruby colour and a clear aromatic profile. The nose brings mature red and black fruit, sweet spice and an earthy note recalling the volcanic character of the area. The palate is full and decisive yet smooth, with fruity returns and a clean, persistent finish marked by a slight bitter note. It suits red meats, braises, aged cheeses and mushroom dishes. Serve slightly chilled, or after a short decant and about thirty minutes' rest.
