Aglianico Riserva Molise DOC "Contado" from Di Majo Norante is presented in a magnum format. It shows dark berry fruit, plum and mature cherry on the nose, with light spice and earthy notes. The palate is structured, with firm but balanced tannins and acidity supporting the body. It is suited to red meats, braises, roasts and aged cheeses. The magnum format favours slow evolution in the cellar and may be appreciated after resting or careful decanting.
