Agot New Path Small Batch is a limited edition of a Basque single malt from Spain, in a 70cl bottle. Only 1,500 bottles were made.
The whisky spent three years maturing in three different casks: ex-Rioja Alavesa, ex-Palo Cortado sherry and ex-imperial stout casks from the Basque brewery Laugar.
The nose is delicate, with caramel, vanilla and cocoa. The palate is gentle and lightly spicy, with vanilla, and the finish carries a touch of tannin.
