Aguardente from Niepoort, aged in wooden casks previously used for Port wine. It has an amber colour and aromas of vanilla, ripe fruit, toasted wood and sweet spices. On the palate it shows hazelnut, chocolate and a light coffee note, with a long, persistent finish. Best served at room temperature as a digestif after a meal.
