A blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, sold under the King's Legend name by Ainslie & Heilbron. It is in a 75cl bottle at 40% ABV. The firm traced its roots to James Ainslie & Co, a wine and spirits merchant that did well enough in the mid 19th century to buy Clynelish distillery, now known as Brora, in 1896. DCL acquired Ainslie & Heilbron in 1980. It kept trading under its own name until 1993, when it was merged into Diageo.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
