Akashi White Oak Japanese Blended Whisky (75cl)

Akashi White Oak is a Japanese blended whisky in a 750ml bottle. It is distilled from wheat, barley and rye, with a note of subtle peat, and matured in ex-bourbon, barley shochu and sherry barrels. The character is malty and citrusy, with hints of salinity linked to its coastal location. It is made as an approachable sipping whisky. The nose is slightly fruity, with lemon, cherry, toffee, oats and sea air. The palate is clean and easy, with vanilla and pine nuts, and the finish is long and wheaty.
